In Switzerland  - Grimsel, Furka and Susten, to the south-east of Interlaken, when combined, make for a driving day you will never forget! Fowing corners, straights, and hairpin bends, plus enough vertigo-inducing height too, if you manage to catch a glance over some of the cliffs.

The Grimsel Pass is located in Switzerland’s upper Rhone valley makes its way over the steep, winding mountainside. The view is like something out of a blockbuster film, where you see expect to see Vi Diesel (or a similar famous actor) driving along in a red Ferrari with the wind in his face.

Expe a wild mountain region, surrounded by smooth granite rocks, blue reservoir lakes and pretty plants.

Ever since 1964's Goldfinger, the Furka pass road has become a mecca for Bond enthusiasts. They regularly come from all over the world to revisit this famous scene.

Instead of maneuvering around like Sean Connery in an Aston Martin, tourists tend to go upmarket on their travels on their sports bikes or in a Ferrari.

The final member of the "Big 3" as they are known, the  Susten Pass is another outstanding high mountain pass in the central Swiss Alps. It may be the less well known of the three, but without doubt this is the greatest driving road of the three. Probably the best driving road in Switzerland, the Susten has an amazing variety of road styles. From the sweeping valley roads on the eastern approach, with amazing uninterupted forward views, to the switchbacks that take you to the summit of the pass at 2224 metres, to the run back down the pass towards Innertkirchen, which takes you through forests, and across stunning stone bridges.Its a driver's delight!
